About Us

I grew up a hunter and guide on our family owned ranch in the mountains of Western Colorado. It is here that I met my wife, Joy. We are parents to 7 amazing children and grandparents to 3 perfect grandbabies. While talking with our hunters it was clear that there was a need for shipping their processed meat and taxidermy work from Colorado to their homes, without risking their meat spoiling or damage to their trophies. From this, the company was born. We immediately found that there was a much larger need for this service than we ever thought. Fast forward 16 plus years later and we deliver to all 50 states and pick-up in almost as many. It is my goal to ensure that your experience with Wild Game Trophy Shipping is seamless. My wife Joy is also here to help with Human Resources and oversee the three office locations that we currently operate.

Alan, the owner, is my brother. I was born and raised in Western Colorado, on a cattle ranch. I grew up hunting, fishing, and guiding on our fifth generation family ranch. I served our country as a Navy Seabee for five years and after this I worked as a nurse for 17 years. I am the mom to three wonderful grown boys. In my spare time, I enjoy anything outdoors, and take full advantage of Colorado’s four seasons. In my position here at WGTS, I strive to provide a wonderful customer service experience to you, our clients. I work hard to ensure your delivery experience goes smoothly and I am open to any and all feedback.

Hello, we are Nate and Sabrina Yanez. We are excited to be heading up the New Mexico and Texas division of Wild Game Trophy Shipping. Having both been raised in Colorado, we are both familiar with the hunting and fishing industries. We made the move to Texas in the spring of 2023 and are thrilled to see the business grow. We are married and are proud parents who love to spend time together as a family, attend church, golf, and hunt. We look forward to serving all of your needs in the Texas region.

Growing up in southern Missouri raising cattle and horses I gained a love for the outdoors and memories made with friends and family. That carried me into college where I gained my degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology. After college I have worked in all aspects of the outdoor industry from outfitting a fly fishing and working ranch in New Mexico, guiding duck hunters and upland birds in Arkansas, and raising and managing trophy whitetail ranches in Southern Texas and central Missouri. I continue to share my love for the outdoors with my wife and 3 children from our home in central Missouri whether it’s hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, or just enjoying the lakes and rivers around us with our family, friends, or dogs.
